The Metal Additive Manufacturing Technical Staff Scientist will be responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of Additive Manufacturing (AM) systems in the University of Memphis’s Metal AM Lab (MAML) at Herff College of Engineering. He/She will also operate other lab/machining equipment at MAML as required such as wire EDM, furnace and also powder and bulk materials characterization hardware.

Symposium on Solid Mechanics

The Symposium on Solid Mechanics provides a unique platform to share knowledge advancements, cutting-edge research and innovative industrial applications among researchers and industrial experts working in this area. Canadian and International Researchers in the field of Solid Mechanics are invited to submit a contribution of their work for presentation at the CSME-CFDSC International Congress that will be held in London, Ontario. 

The Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering (MMAE) Department at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor position. The ideal candidate will have an interdisciplinary background in mechanics, manufacturing, and materials. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in multidisciplinary topics such as additive manufacturing, metal processing, powder processing, and optimization of manufacturing processes across a wide range of engineering and scientific applications.
