Postdoctoral Positions:

Our group has one postdoctoral position opening supported by Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)-Digital Manufacturing and Design (DManD) Centre for a projects of 3D printing with active materials.

We are seeking self-motivated postdoctoral researchers with a strong background on solid mechanics, FEA simulation and material characterization.

The successful candidate is required to have:

One postdoctoral fellow position in solid mechanics/biomechanics at Dartmouth is immediately available in the Chen group at Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth (http://engineering.dartmouth.edu/people/faculty/zi-chen/). The subjects of research include, but arre not limited to, cancer cell migration, mechanics of morphogenesis in embryos or plants, and/or bioinspired robots.

Multiple PhD and Postdocs positions in the fields of advanced materials and energizing electronics are available immediately at Michigan State University. The multi-disciplinary research topics are including mechanics and applications of soft materials and nanomaterials; bioinspired materials, 3D/4D printing; flexible/stretchable/printed electronics; biomaterials and biomechanics; metamaterials and metasurfaces; soft machines and robotics, composite materials etc.

A postdoc position in the area of mechanics of metamaterials is available in the group of Prof. Stefano Gonella (http://personal.cege.umn.edu/~gonella/) at the University of Minnesota. This exciting opportunity is in the context of a National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded interdisciplinary project whose main objective is to investigate the behavior of innovative topological metamaterials with asymmetric wave transport capabilities.

I am in search of two postdocs to join my group, at MIT, on September 1st , 2017, or earlier. These positions will provide a unique flexibility in choice of research topic which will, in general, target problems in nonlinear solid mechanics. Though our primary focus is on theoretical mechanics, candidates with experimental and computational experience are also encouraged to apply.

I have openings for two post-doc positions in my new research group at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland, where I will be moving later this year. The target start date is January 1st, 2018.
