vibration analysis using ansys
i doing research work in Fixture layout optimization problem. in this regard i need to calculate the exciting frequncy of the milling cutter . help me to calculte the exciting frequncy of the milling cutter and how to measure the amplitude using ansys
ASME-AMD Summer Meeting 2013: Dynamic Stability of Structural Systems
Dear Colleague:
The 2013 summer meeting of ASME Applied Mechanics Division will be held jointly with the Society of Engineering Science at Brown University, Providence, RI, July 28-31. We are pleased to invite you to a session on Dynamic Stability of Structural Systems, under the symposium on Instability in Solids and Structures that is being organized by the AMD Technical Committee.
Difficulty in using connector uniaxial behavior Abaqus
Dear Abaqus User,
Is there any other possible way to model connector uniaxial behavior (cyclic/hysteretic behavior) without using dynamic explicit analysis? In the manual, it is mentioned that connector uniaxial behavior can be used only with explicit analysis. I am having problem when I chose to run dynamic explicit analysis. The model runs fine with general static step (using cyclic displacement as amplitude). I just need to run quasi static analysis as there is nothing to do with inertia effect.
