The institute of Modelling and Simulation in Mechanics and Materials is looking for a post-doctoral researcher with less than 10 years experience (post-PhD) to work in the area of lubricated contact at the theoretical and computational level. The selected candidate will be supervised by Prof. Evans and Prof. Borodich.

The position is for 12 months and the salary in the vicinity of €35,000.

We are inviting authors to submit 300 words abstract for oral and poster presentation at the conference. New developments and innovative applications are especially welcome in the following subject areas:

A postdoctoral position is available at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Connecticut in the area of coarse-grain molecular dynamics simulation of cellular membranes and filaments. Extensive experience in molecular dynamics simulation of soft materials and parallel coding is required. Experience in the use of force fields and LAMMPS is highly desirable.

We are
looking for a Postdoctoral fellow to strengthen our
Research Training Group 1462 Model Qualities that
consists of 12 PhD students. This is a fixed-term position for a
period of one year. A renewal for a further year is possible.
